Summary

The Cumbria Community Foundation exists to benefit disadvantaged people and communities by making grants to support relevant charitable or voluntary organisations, which make a difference within their local area. Through the Cumbria Young People’s Fund, the Foundation provides grants of up to £10,000 for groups helping young people aged 14-22 with particular emphasis on those who are vulnerable and at risk.

Funding Details

Grants of up to £10,000 pa. are available.

The Fund will also consider multiyear revenue applications

Who Can Apply

Groups helping young people aged 14-22 with particular emphasis on 14-16-year olds.

Groups working with vulnerable and ‘at risk’ young people are particularly welcome.

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • Promote life skills

  • Support young people at risk of leaving education.

  • Support young people in fulfilling their potential.

  • Address issues such as drugs and alcohol misuse, mental health
